Hi, I’m Alex. If you’ve read the ‘About Us’ section and the homepage, you already know a bit about me. Here are a few other things you might find interesting.
My passion for health and fitness started early. I began practicing martial arts at the age of 4, was on the rugby and athletics teams throughout high school, and started weightlifting and doing push-ups before I could join a gym.
Continuing my journey, I’ve remained dedicated to training and learning. I studied degree-level human biology and worked as a Personal Trainer and Wellbeing Advisor for Nuffield Health, where I conducted 360 health checks. Additionally, I coached strength and conditioning for a regional rowing team and delivered college lectures on health topics to A-Level and NVQ students.
In my current role as a GP referral Health Advisor, I focus on helping individuals improve their health holistically. I have supported patients pre- and post-operation with specialised diets and lifestyle changes, and work to prevent and manage a range of hypo-kinetic diseases, such as hypertension, obesity, and diabetes, emphasising the wider determinants of health. This role is incredibly rewarding, and I am passionate about making a difference in preventative health within the community.
I also specialise in bodybuilding preparation, providing tailored guidance for competitors aiming to achieve their best physique. My clients have achieved significant success, including titles such as 2x NABBA Mr. UK, British Finalist, and PCA Regional Overall and Mr. Universe.
